Tired

... or less. Hot weather is kicking in, in fact we're due for about a week of 35C+ which will make for a VERY hot November in Melbourne, I think they were saying on the radio that it will be record-breaking for November. It's going to be hot in our little bungalow, that's for sure. Saturday was quite hot; Mum ...

Preping for winter

... productive for plasticing them). Though I may still put plastic up tonight on sis and guest room windows as those won't be opened any more even if the weather stays nice. Did not get up into the attic this weekend to rearrange and get to the fabrics up there so I can see what I have that would work ...

it is what it is

... kind of switched the way I end both of them. That has no bearing on anything in this post or the rest of your day, but there you have it. The fall is breathtaking here. The weather, so far, has been great. Cold enough at times to make me comletely fear the coming of January, but nice enough that I ...

There's also something really satisfying about riding your old loop (route 5 in Vermont, cross over ...

Marathon 2009!

... Paul! Also, the race was in Indianapolis, and to be quite honest, I thought that the course would be boring and ugly, but I was astonished to realize that Indy is quite beautiful. I was able to appreciate it even through the raging pain in my toe. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect, either ...

November 9th-13th

Hello Everyone - This week in class we will be reading the story The Weather and discussing what the main idea is. Again, I will be sending home the story to read at home with your child. While reading, ask your child these questions: what is the main idea of the story, what is another good title ...

slow

... So far from it. Yet again. I looked at my journal entries for this time last year, and there's one dated 8th November (today) and it's quite weird as i'm in pretty much the same situation. Only THINNER and doing MORE. This weather is so hard. It makes the thought of going out for a run each day ...

Untitled

The weather this weekend was unseasonably warm. Saturday was about sixty and Sunday was pushing sixty-five or so. Both days were sunny. On Saturday, I took Nick to a jumping clinic at Bonnie's in Everett. That was educational. I like going on horse outings because they illustrate where the huge ...
