Way more than your average guitar site!

Skinny Devil.com has to be one of the more organized and comprehensive music websites available today. Most other sites seem to be either mere plugs to entice you to purchase the latest "miracle guitar learning secrets!" videos that only lead most would be students to further frustration and failure (as well as lighter wallets!), or personal hobby projects of guitarists that are light on information and contain a multitude of broken links that spotlight someone's lack of real commitment.

The Skinny Devil website transcends the typical music page, and is free of such B.S. Instead, Skinny Devil.com presents true and incredibly valuable resources for aspiring and even accomplished musicians. The vast amount of information, including a small army of FREE and useful guitar lessons, reading material with personal interviews between the page owner and acclaimed guitarists (and it's quality stuff like you'd see in national pubs like Guitar World and Rolling Stone), fantastic clips from his eclectic acoustic duo "Alien Blue," free use music, and some very cool ideas like the Skinny Devil Radio and TV sections show continuing expansion and true promise of a Mega Site in the making.

What makes this site a true cut above its peers is the comprehensive nature of the info that's made available. It legitimately runs the full gamut of resources from educational to entertainment, from endorsement to opportunity, entrepreneurship to charity, even political activism. It would be too much information for one site were it not all so neatly arranged and applicable to anyone involved in any facet of the music industry.

This site truly deserves the high accolades reflected in the other reviews, and shows great promise for expansion in the very near future.

Skinny Devil's site has a wealth of great information for beginning guitar players through seasoned professionals. I really dig the straight forward approach, insight on styles of the "Guitar Gods", and intelligent manner in which it is all presented.

Interesting and useful site.

Lots of advice and instruction for aspiring guitar gods. Great set of articles called "The Guitar Gods" series. Some very good and interesting (vs average) free music. Employment opportunities. Networking opportunities. Also the newest content is ULTRA interesting. An instructional video disk titled Pentatonic Concepts. (commercial product). Home site of a very good acoustic duo (samples available on site and via links) called Alien Blue...this pair includes one outstanding string magician and one lovely lady with a mesmerizing and beautiful voice. Superior sounds. Links to other author or duo sites with more information and demo clips. Very good. Highly recommended.
